The city is very nice and looks really beautiful and clean. I like old gothic towers and wonderful brick architecture, and for it I 'll rate 10, but for the skyline which simply doesn't exist 3/10

Pro: Nice cathedrals :D
Con: hardly any buildings, short, hardly any buildings and short :D

CPH has little going as skyline goes, although i like the bell towers all over the city. Its little swedish neighbor Malmo will get a better one soon.
On a another note, it's a very pleasant city to spend a relaxing week-end at.
So 5/10

Very dense and even. Usually with cities like that, there are some random high-rises in the background which ruin that effect. It doesn't look like that with Copenhagen...

Copenhagen has a very special non-typical skyline. If you guys, who say that the city has no skyline, would come to Copenhagen with a ferry, you would see far from the distance that the city DOES HAVE a skyline.
Copenhagen has many churches with spires. It looks breath taking seen from a ferry.

Eddy a skyline dies not have to be tall. By definition every town/city has a skyline. Some are tall some are not.
My classic examply for this is Oxford, England. Oxford has no talls and thus would invite the question "where is the skyline ???". However its famous Dreaming Spires over its colleges and churches are among the most evocative and beautiful skylines I have ever seen. Simply beautiful
Oxford has a great skyline which happens to be a non skyscraper skyline. Copenhagen could be said to have the same. This at any rate is my view.
As a scraper skyline it is a 0.
As a skyline it is a 7.

There is not much of skylines except for the spires from Churches , or Castles in most of the European Nations , so it's unfair to compare them with the modern skyline Cities nowaday around the world, they are just in a class of their own , beautiful and happily ever after from a story's book... Gorgeous city and beautiful skyline. High rises don't belong in this city. To all those giving Denmark's capital such low scores don't know the definition of skyline. Skyline is defined as an outline (as of buildings or mountains) against the background of the sky. Copenhagen gets 9/10 from me.
