Ok today i spent 4 hours trying to take pics of uptown,and downtown.one reason i took so long was that i don't have a car so i decided to walk and walk i did. the reason i hate uptown is because the projects are all spread out and are impossible to find,which is why i don't have any pics of ice 1 or ice 2.i really think they need like a baywalk or something.
so here we go,i'll post the pics tommorrow.going to the movies need to take a shower.

Well Uptown_midtown :) , Yes :) , If you walked by the ICE 1 SITE, Its FROZEN AGAIN, :bash: Nothing happening, its a Locked gate and fence of all Foundation ALREADY IN, but nothing else, :bash: THE SEAWALL is finished TOO, but Nothing else,lol. :cheers:

I thought Quantum and 1800 club would be alot farther by now...it looks like there still doing foundation work!!

that new project looks hella cool..Miami will soon be known for that kind of style (same as Ice 1, Ice 2, ten museum)!

MIAballinboi :) and STREET :) , Its the FOUNDATIONS of BOTH Towers of the 1800 CLUB :) and QUANTUM :) , Thats SO BIG for these BULKY TOWERS, its HUGE and Takes Time to INSTALL all the REBAR 50 FEET into the GROUND. I've been Watching BOTH TOWER SITES since they Started, AND BELIEVE ME, they have NOT STOPPED any Construction, IN FACT !!!, Mark MY WORD, I was by there TODAY at the 1800 CLUB and GUESS WHAT !!!, TWO MORE TOWER CONSTRUCTION CRANES :) , ALL BLUE are GOING UP at the SITE . THIS ADDS to our CRANES :) , YES !!! GO CRANES !!! :cheers:

Uptown-Midtown :) , YES , Its Going to be SO HUGE :) and BULKY :) , BOTH TOWERS have Foundations Going in at LEAST 50 to 70 FEET deep. DID you see the HUGE TUBES at the QUANTUM SITE , the REBARS are over 4 FEET in RADIUS, and so many DIGGING and DRILLING CRANES , its Awesome !!!, and Keep taking those GREAT PICS, GO CRANES !!! :cheers:

YES HAV-OK :) , ITS 27 TOWER Contruction CRANES Just in the CITY OF MIAMI :) Limits !!!, Other AREAS like the CITY of AVENTURA :) have 14 CRANES, City of SUNNY ISLES BEACH :) has 8 CRANES, Coral Gables :) has 5 CRANES and NORTH BAY Village :) has 6 CRANES, And NO-CITY Unincorporated KENDALL :) ( Also Known as DADELAND ) now has 6 CRANES !!! ALSO the MOSIAC on Miami BEACH :) has a YELLOW Tower construction Crane and the RANCH CANYON LIVING :) Tower site Has a Blue with WHITE TOP Tower Construction CRANE ! :) , ITS Great, GO CRANES !!! :cheers:

Miami, needs to invest in public transportation as this city grows. uptown-midtown, nice pictuers. It looks like most of the projects haven't started on the foundation.

i really haven't seen enough renderings of them to get a real good feel for either one, but , yeah, they're basically a couple of boxes. from what i remember, ice 1 looked a little better than ice 2, but they're both kinda bleh to me. not to mention they're more or less knock-offs of ten museum park, although, that may not be fair since i really haven't seen good renderings of the ices'.

Hallways only on every other floor and incredible use of space and glass. Chad Oppenheim designed them long before he designed 10 Museum Park. The difference is that the Greg Covin is the developer of 10 Museum and the 10 Museum Park location is far superior to the Ice lots...
Ice went on sale at the same time as Brickell on the River. Same prices. BotR has topped off and Ice is still a beautiful rendering and a piece of dirt.

Uptown-Midtown touched on this...try walking from any of the museums/arenas/libraries/metromover/metrorail from ICE/ICE2...there is nothing there.
Miami HAS invested in transportation and continues to do so.
The transportation exists. George Perez knows this and develops near it sometimes over it. Projects that get developed within the brackets of the Metromover...with a couple of exceptions, get permitted, sold out and financed fast!
Think of all the Metromover stops and what projects have been developed near them....Avenue=38 stories & 48 stories reserved > contract > groundbreaking in less than 3 months...it is located at the base of the 10th Street/Promenade Metromover stop. Axis=two 50-ish story towers sold out fast....at the base of the Brickell Metromover stop....Brickell on the River=42 stories > first tower sold out in a couple weeks it is located at the base of the 5th street/riverwalk Metromover stop. Loft I/Loft II=pretty tall...sold out in minus 2 days.... you get the idea....

Midtown tower 3 by Chad Oppenheim will start at $390 to $425 per square foot. That is about the same price as 10 Museum Park by Chad Oppenheim sold for, which view would you rather have, how far from the metromover would you rather be?
