The overall idea I think, don't quote me is that they wanna get the access to the waterfront done before trying to develope whats out there, I mean its like trying to build a walmart in the woods without cutting down trees.

Overall any plan that makes that area better connected to the southtowns and the waterfront has my support, perhaps the giant boom in northern suburb development is because of the ease of commute vs. the ease of commute for the people in the southtowns with what seems to be an increasing number of people working downtown...this might be a sign.

You know it would be nice to get some new towers downtown, but thats an ego thing most cities suffer from, I would rather see Buffalo rebuild its foundation and when it deserves towers...it will get them.

Okay, we talk all day about new projects downtown and in the city...but sometimes its hard to visualize whats going on right?

I was wondering if anyone is interested in helping myself or some others construct a large file size map of downtown, we can number the lots and when referring to a particular project we can reference a number to that lot so that we can also keep track.

This is just an idea, but I think it would work wonders because at some point we can have a full spreadsheet of everything going on, rumors, news, progress and ideas all together.

Anyone?
