So I can't find it right now, but I remember reading about a potential plan (I belive 50 million) to renovate the Dorthy Chandler Pavillion and the Mark Taper Forum. I haven't read anything about this recently. I want to know if anybody knows what they were planning on doing, when and anything else interesting about this project. Also, I was thinking that as a apart of the Grand Ave. project, some of the space on grand bellow the music center (where the entrences to the parking lot is) should be developed with little shops. I'm thinking like magazine stands, flower shops, maybe a pizza by the slice place. This would add some interaction on the street bellow the music center and help activate that part of grand. Right now it is very strange to walk there, until you get toward Disney hall because it feels like you are walking in a parking lot. Thats it. Tell me what you think.

I think that anything outside of those theaters would be nice. I know there is are a few restaurants, even ones that are open late, but it will be nice to see what else comes due to the Grand Ave. project. That whole area is nice (with Moca and colburn included) but it could be better...even another smaller theater would be great.
