It takes me literally forever to load SSC. Is anyone else having this problem? And don't get me wrong I have dsl, and the loading time is close to 1 minute!

I'm guessing the forum probably needs 'pruning' - too many threads for the server to handle. If this is the case then Jan and the other mods will have to delete a load of old threads.

I've been contemplating it on the EE, we have quite a lot of old threads, but I'm too lazy tonight, the Balkan Syndrome is on me :D

Not only old threads but the closed ones and those where the pics don't load anymore...

Yes, and I hope they'll start with the UK Skybar. I mean, the thing is 54 pages long! :eek:

Smaller forums' architecture threads get hacked and whacked with consistence & regularity, but it seems the UK Skybar shall remain as a monument to UK wisdom & humor for ever more. A class act indeed. :master:

Yeah, we know, it can be quite slow during European evenings. Just too many people joining in the fun, we're growing quite fast these days. The server generates about 25 mB per minute on data (amost 0,5 mB per second), and that 24/7. We're working on a more durable solution for this for the forums are just as slow and as much fun for us as they are for you. Thanks for your patience.

Sunday has been slow... Good if you're doing something for this.

No problems with me.

i tryed two times this evening but sever didn't reply. but now it is fast.

It's just the new server, should be going faster soon.
