Are you happy being an architect? Once I decide to go to poly to do architecture, my life will be sealed. I want to know if I am making the right choice, or should I just stay in JC and see what other careers I might want.

Here is just a short description of my aspirations:
I love architecture, I can't see myself doing any other job. I don't need to be rich, I just want a decent life, maybe the occational splurge, like a city apartment.:D Most importantly, I want to live my life to the fullest, and to fufil my passion for architecture. But is this just a fantasy? Will these dreams shatter into something completely different?

Are you happy? Did you regret choosing this path? Are you satisfied with your life? Will I make the right choice of giving up money(eg) for passion?

You life won't be sealed with a poly diploma or even a degree. There are tons of people making a living doing something that's completely different to what they studied.

An architect's life can be quite fulfilling as long as you are prepared to accept the fact that you most probably won't be doing the things you'd love to do all the time (e.g. you won't be spending the bulk of your time doing design work).

"Will I make the right choice of giving up money(eg) for passion?" This is one question which only you have the answers.

@ Cliff: keep in mind that just being what you aspired to be for ever and ever can become real boring. The key to happyness is to make sure not to live a dream but also to keep room for reality.

I guess that shouldn't be a problem, at least architecture will have something that I like, no matter how little it may be. Better than other jobs where the whole lot of it is made of things that I don't like.:D

What do you mean?
