Was coming back from school when the tram driver decided at the last minute to turn into the depot even though it was a 69. Upon getting off I realised why:

well i appreciate those pics hacksaw, i'm sure the Herald Sun would have been interested in one or 2 of those pics, was another fire not so long ago round the corner in glenhuntly rd aswell, similar to that one.

Yeah nice pics! I work in Malvern Central and remember the day, we were wondering where the smoke smell was coming from until we were told by someone coming through that there was a fire. Of course I and a few others rushed straight up to the dock, which is directly accross the train lines from the
fire, for a squizz. Smokey bastard was that one.

That building did have a roof on it as it was occupied by a professional company (solicitor, accountant or the like)

thats what happens when accountants move in they cook the books ;)

Interesting how all the responses come over 12 days after the incident occured. And yeah, I believe it was an accounting firm.
