Caught sight of this on my walk to work this morning and found it a bit humorous. I actually think the sign will offer a slight improvement to such a horrid building. The addition of windows has also helped.

You know what woudl really improve this building? Some paint. Make a mural in that big blank area, or at least make the building something other than concrete brown.

Paint that sucker bright blue. no one would complain about how bad it looks then :D

I have to say, each time I see the Sun Times sign, it is a vast improvement. Again, it is still a hideous building, but the sign helps.

They finished putting up the "Chicag" on the "o Sun-Times" building today.

Thanks for posting the pictures....I was wondering if they had added more windows and your pictures show that they did. Too bad they couldn't go all the way up on the main building.

The Sun Times always chooses the ugliest buildings.

wow, that sign dramatically improves the building, i guess by giving some sort of object in the middle of the drabness.

Great improvement, but the building is still fugly.

I completely agree that the sign is a huge improvement to such a hideous building. While still ugly as hell, the sign dramatically reduces fever, headache, and eye strain when viewing.
