fir3, open this thread http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=177848 I posted a lot of busway pics and will post more. Line 1 is operational, line 2 and 3 are underconstrution as you know. Government thinks to speed up the construction of other 12 lines to complete all in 2010. I've tried it once while I was in JKT and I thinks it's really good.

I think the biggest problem is limited internet access for Indonesian.
Internet is soooo expensive back home *sigh*

Haha. Anyone using Telkom Speedy? I heard it's quite 'cheap' for a broadband access. Of course cheap is relative. AFAIK, the broadband access price in Indonesia is roughly the same as in Singapore.

Telkom speedy is fucked up. they gave free access right now after the fiasco last month, which internet bill was going extremely high because the computers were messed up with the actual data and usage.

I uses Indosat and the speed is 10 times faster than dial up.

exactly! like someone said, the issue of Indonesia Forum is that a lot of its members are not in JKT or Indonesia. So it's difficult to take photos. I hope you will take more pictures of JKT/Indonesia before moving to Canada ;)

Thanks for the compliments guys, I can only do those photo-spree twice a year, when I go back to JKT. Throughout the year everyone else (particularly those residing in JKT) has got to update us on the property boom in that city. :)

Alvin, i will be going to Vancouver Canada. I applied to UBC (University of British Columbia) and SFU (Simon Fraser University). I am still waiting for a response from both universities. My first choice is UBC, im praying i will get in. And i look forward to moving to Canada, i cant wait. Of course, i will miss Jakarta for i spent most of my "growing up" here...so many memories. Thank you Jakarta:)
