Uppsala cathedral is the biggest one in Scandinavia but far from the most beautiful. The exterior is maybe not the nicest but the interior is pretty nice or infact very nice :)

They started building it in the 13th century and it was finished in the early 15th century. It 119 meter high and 118 meters long. Its 29 meters from the ground to the ceiling.

Why did they decide to "renovate" the building like that?

I dont know but i think they "killed" it a bit by doing that.
The chruch is located 68km northwest of Stockholm.

They shouldn't haven't removed the turrets and other details of the church.Tha way it is looks a bit cheap from the outside.
