Is this a Multiplex Construction, Because the Core box is exactly the same as the bloody Skyplaza one.
abc
March 15th, 2005, 11:45 AM
No... it's being built by Hindmarsh.. an ACT-Adelaide Company..
They're just finishing off the Avenue in town.. see cranes thread for crane that came down the other day..
There's 2 core boxes at the Metro, and it's a LCR crane.

Looking great too. Canberra really has the potential to become one of the worlds most beautiful cities. It lies after all in a beautiful part of Australia. These sorts of development will go towards helping the future increase in population and keep Canberras footprint more dense and compact rather than sprawling all over the place. Hi everyone,
I couldn't find any spam threads for Canberra, so I thought this was the best place to post a question. I'm coming to Canberra for a few days soon and was just wondering what are the best places to see? And what's the best way to get around? Buses? I know there's the war memorial and the Australian Museum, but what else is there? Can you get in to Parliament House?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but please feel free to PM if you have any answers or just add another post.
Cheers.

It's weird to think that 5 years ago that same view was just dirt, city west is crazy! From the Yarralumla side of the lake the west part of the Skyline looks much better and 'fuller' though it's not tall, it's better than nothing and with the addition of New Acton which will be even more obvious, It should give the city a 'new' look.
