TED Ankara College Campus

The Campus area is located in the east of Taspınar village on Yumrubel hill in Incek region which is the south part of the city. Campus is 4km far from the Yonca interchange on Konya hihway, 8.2km far from Konya highway to Ankara highway and 11.7km far from Incek.

The facilities which, on the total have 138.000m2 indoor areas, have been put into project in the 309.000m2 campus area.

The classrooms form the clusters, clusters form the class groups, class groups lead to the formation of schools. In this formation all features have been planned to keep in step with the pace of the contemporary education. On the premises of new campus that can accomodate altogether 6000 people. School sections consist of;

Kindergarden with the capacity of 450 students
Primary school for grades 1-5 with the capacity of 2050 students
Primary school for grades 6-8 with the capacity of 1800 students
High school with the capacity of 1920 students including 120 prep-grade students.
At the campus project, there are many facilities which will respond the needs a population of 6000 inhabitants with the demands likely to come from outside. These are;

-A sport hall with the capacity of 3000 people,

-2 halls for training,

-An indoor and outdoor swimming pools,

-A sport center consists of squash, dance, gymnastics, fitness halls and a sauna bath,

-A shopping center

-An art center with 9 studios for various purposes

-A science center for permanent and periodical scientific experiments

-A spacious theatre-auditorium for 800 people

-A culture and congress center consisting of a cafe, foyer area and 6 seminar halls for 200-100 and 50 people

-A catering center

-College museum

-A social club for inhabitants of campus and graduates of college overlooking to lake Mogan with a restaurant, a cafebar, recreation centers, an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

Life at campus become complete with science, art, culture and sport activities which are the basic elements of contemporary education.
TED Ankara College Foundation Incek Campus is an education facility that can be shown as an example not only in homeland but also in abroad for its capacity of students and facilities. This facility is planned as a contemporary education-culture arena providing comprehensive opportunities both for formal education and social-cultural-sportive activities.
