Central Mall

This is part of the Jawharat alBabtin project (renamed Multaqa ala3mal), a business and commercial park located in central Jiddah (Wali-l-3ahd x 70 st).
3 storeys, with the ground floor containing the carpark. 131386 sq meters. They've just signed a contract with Jian hypermarkets , for 13650 sq meters.

Southern Corniche commerce city

This is an integrated market / mall project on the southern corniche. Opposite the coastguard base.
300000 sq. meters, with 3000 units. Divided into different zones: Furniture and homeware market, Electronics and household products market, Computer and telecom market, as well as the main mall. Mall is features lots of entertainment facilities, such as an ice rink, arcades, and ample restaurant space.

Nice, Jeddah is strengthening it's status as saudi's #1 city. Btw, it's Geant hypermarket and not Jian ;)

Don't know. But most likely they will build midrise office blocks rather than any tall towers. But land prices are seriously rising in Saudi, so it might become desirable to build tall(-ish) purely on economical grounds.

This mall as I red it is the biggest in the Middle East. Good job HiJazzy.
I have also over 10 pictures of another new mall in Jeddah I will

I really don’t know. They might mean currently until Dubai Mall finish. Who
knows. I personally don’t care.

so this mall will have 3000 units? Is that possible, I suppose you mean 300, cause that's more logical.
