Hey guys, took couple of pics of downtown Fort Lauderdale on Friday.
The pics are not that great, but they show all the new buildings and those still under construction. Hope you like them.

..I knew related would move fast... but damn, spring 2005...even it were summer, that'd be HAWT....how are they gonna do that without selling a selling phase, do they expect a ultra-rapid sellout??

Great pics Gabozova....ya know, if you use www.imageshack.us as a free photo host, they don't resize the pics....it would be great if we could see larger versions of these pics. Pretty pleez:D
Once again, fantastic shots!

They are good pics. The problem is that the residential totally overwhelms everything else. It would be nice if there was a better mix.

hey streetscapeer,
glad u like my pics.
I will try my best to increase the size of the pictures this weekend.
as well as take some more.
I live 5 minutes from the downtown.

I used Imageshack last time, but for some reason, it kept saying my pics were too large and would not upload, that is why i used photobucket.com this time.
I'll try using imageshack again and hopefully it will work
later.

^^hmm...that's weird...maybe you should reduce the size of the pics on the camera (perhaps it's on the largest setting possible), cause imageshack allows you to upload pics up to 1024 KB, which is pretty big, but if you're taking monster Photos, it might not work!!....Either way, good luck, can't wait for the pics;)

The construction going on in Ft. Lauderdale is amazing. The area is really developing a nice center city, but I do think they need to expand away from just Las Olas blvd. I also agree that some commercial buildings are needed too. But, in general, really amazing.

I think that it should be pointed out that FTL has added perhaps more commercial space in recent years than any other Florida city. Indeed, as of a couple of years ago, BofA was the only honest-to-goodness office tower going up in a Florida CBD.

YEah..I was just about to say...FTL has plenty of offices...you can't judge a whole downtown based on the few pics on this forum....you really have to be there at street-level to get an idea!

Lauderdale is on FIRE!! I was there a year ago and feel in love with the city. There is some very beautiful modern architecture down there. And the beach front is absolutely beautiful :cheers1:!
