the buildings are not leaning, it's only an effect of your camera lense. Most of lenses (also pocket camera) has this effect unless you'are using a tilted lense. This type of lense is expensive and works only for SLR.

So, don't worry The Peak towers are just fine ;)

Looking from the pictures, they progressed in quite speedy pace. How many days actually in Indonesia for a contractor to build these 50+ storey buildings?

well.. when I was in Jakarta, what I think is happening, they're concentrating the finishing on those 2 smaller towers first. hence the other 2 taller towers are sorta abandoned.. aahhaaa
oh well.. I cant wait to see it finished.. but Im sorta dissapointed due to the fact that the taller towers are not as tall as what I expected.

even if each flr = 5m then 5 x 55 = 275m. but i don't think so 5m for each flr.. so unlogic for resident buldings.

its might be 3.5m = 3.5 x 55flr = 195m then + 20m spire/roof. so it become around 220m ;)

from the pics.. its look so tall becoz jkt still have no 300+m buildings.

The article is not well written and I seriously doubt its accuracy. Airlangga Residence is no longer U/c, it's completed in the form of the Ritz! And the 327m plan was scrapped ages ago.. and...I didn't know the Peak had antenna :) sounds like wishful thinking more than reality...

Menara TVRI does not look 239 metres to me. It looks more like 139 lol.
Graha pena too. It does not look 190m by itself, but 90. Maybe the huge antenna on it makes 100m lol.

You're half right. The current "Ritz" consists of two towers, and both towers function as two things: hotel (Ritz Carlton), and an upmarket apartment (Airlangga Residence). They're both 212m. The third building however is still on hold, and no one knows what hte height is. I don't think it'll get built anytime soon...

The Peak is 265m(with Spire just like Wisma 46 with spire is 262m) making it the Current Tallest Tower and Tallest Twin Towers in Indonesia surpassing Wisma 46 (262m with Included Spire)

The Peak was launched and started construction in 2003. Developer promised to complete the project in June 2006, however until November 2006, the project is still on progress and most of the sold apartments have not been handed-over to the buyers. Based on the Property Purchase Agreement signed between the developer (PT Sunter Agung Podomoro) and the buyers, the developer will have to pay penalty if hand-over is not done before November 2006 (if hand-over is late more than 5 months of initial scheduled hand-over of June 2006).

I think the people can go in and live there... Those workers are probably doing the landscaping(pool,trees,etc)

most of the people just buy apartment units and use it for Investments and they rather live in their house :( its sadd...

thats right , but some of the younger generations who spent time studying or living overseas would stay in apt, its part of lifestlye i guess.
