^^ I don't think he meant those, as they are not purple/green. I think jak3m meant the towers in the middle of DIFC, next to Ritz Carlton.

Doubting about that. Seems like Dubai is afraid of everything underground. F.e., I know only one pedestrian underground passage in Dubai - the one connecting Crowne Plaza and The Emirates Towers, although there are lots of them in European cities!

It wouldn't really be under ground would it? The whole of difc has a two story podium. The retail mall would simply be in the podium down the centre connecting all the building together.

But it has been on hold for at least a year. But it has to happen some day
