We have castles in each city. But not palaces like this...

we have thousands of palaces in almoust all citys and now they use some palaces to turisme, specialy from the XVII and XVIII centurys but so close to the water like you have in Istambul we dont have, the presence of the Bosphoro and the palaces and mosques in the border give's to Istambul an insuperable charm.

yes, some palaces, the city museum for exemple in Lisbon.
