i don't understand the point of this thread. i realize your deaf, blink, & you're not able to express your thoughts correctly in writing, but even so, i have no idea what this thread is about. you want miami to have certain stores that you like? why does this warrant creating a new thread?

Not that I want to propagate this thread any further, but I think Miami's retail reputation is secure as is. bada bing.

w/e not really wanting to spend mytime doing this but i'm a bit concerned of oversupply of retail.with mbv,s.m.bayview,plaza,met,one miami whole foods and many more that are to come.i understand that for many years if you wanted to go shopping in miami you had to go to either cocowalk, aventura,or lincoln road but now i think were going to have retail at every corner from coral to uptown, this is not the fault of developers becuase unfortunately the city code states that if you build a building in a C-1 zone it must include 100% groundfloor retail.hopefully someone does something about this law.

hell no uptown, best law ever... without it, few few people would even bother to do ground floor retail because who the hell walks in miami... this law makes for new developments to enhance a more pedestrian environment throughout the city

Yeah this law is the best thing to happen to downtown, its going to add wonders to each building and make miami a better pedestrian oriented city.
