Last week i went down to Marrakech, the heart of Morocco. It was a very odd and wonderful town, a paradise!

the great mosque of Marrakech from the 12th century has been copied a billion time, and the city walls, its also from the 12th century i think

date palms again, just outside the town there is an oasis/plantage containing 150 000 date palms, but sadly westerns have started to destroy it by building houses in it :(

Seems pretty cool town. I always though Marrakech was like a big religious center, where big parts of the town are closed, something like Vatican.

The people down there are extremly nice and friendly, far much friendly then the europeans/westerners, and everybody speak french

Good pics. But I don`t like this city- it looks a little bit dull to me. Nature is nice and people shots are very cool too.... Would like to try such Moroccan lifestyle for a week tought.

What can we do to make Light of this dull dull Marocco??? Looks very very poor

its poor but also much richer and better then sweden. Their streets are nice and new, and their parks, WOW!!
The people are extremly friendly which they aren't in rich europe. I dont think they really want what we think is good. They're probably much richer then you think, they're smart these people and they've beomce bilioners thanks to the dumb europeans ;) Its impossilbe not to buy things in Morocco. You're totaly broke when you come home. :D
