For some reasons I think this Qatar/ Bahrain sub forum should be cancelled or changed to Bahrain forum only because it lacks a lot of information on under construction skyscrapers especially in Qatar, from what I know there are massive infrastructure development I think more than $100 BD is invested and there are at least 20 (100+) meters under construction skyscrapers and other construction development. And where is the information?? no one is posting any on those skyscraper. Unfortunately there are only 3 people posting little information besides if I was in Qatar things would be different, so from today I decided not to participate in this forum until I go to Qatar inshalla in the summer.

Well Qatari I dont think it should be cancelled. I think this forum is active, given the fact less then ten ppl particapte in it. You yourself dont visit very often. As for qatar, your right alot is going on. But little info can be found on the projects over the internet. Id love to take pics of all the buildings, but ill wait a while until all the construction sites have the renders up so i can take snaps of all of them...

Qatar has so much skyscraper development going on and the designs are by far more spectacular than anything else in the Gulf. Check out the projects section at www.abaad-3d.com and you'll know what I mean, although they're just 3d renderings they might very well be in advanced stages of construction which is unheard of in the media. Just some time before all of the amazing buildings start to sprout up in the West Bay area and the rest of Doha, its going to be amazing and "time will tell" :).

I swear there is at least 20 land plots around the west bay area that have been cornered and work is starting on them. No of which post a sign with all the construction details and renders.

I think Qatar should have its own forum. This country is growing so fast. Faster then we can imagine. (Mashallah). Soon it will beat us Saudi if it is not beating us now ;).

I myself want to know more about projects going on in Qatar. Dubai's projects are too typical!

If I only still know people living in Qatar, I would know more :(

I might have to go back to chat rooms :P

This forum should stay, I mean with the number of people that actually participate, it's doing really good and it can only get better with more contributions. As for Qatar, am sure there are a lot of stuff about it especially in the energy and gas section, so you can concentrate on that. Post whatever you find and we'll reply. You don't need to be in Qatar to find about the projects, am not in Bahrain but I just dig. If you're there, makes life easier plus you can take pics. But hey, cheer up and please continue and don't wait till the summer.
