View Full Version : Any factory outlets in Australia?
plasma169 March 3rd, 2005, 02:02 AM When I was in the UK, there was a place where you can buy luxurious brands (Gucci, Armani and etc) for 60% ~ 70% off the price. It was like a factory outlet coz most of the goods sold over there were either overstocked or inferior goods. But it looked like a brand-new to me.
Now, I am wondering if there's any place in Australia that sells similar stuffs. I know there are some factory outlets but any place where they sell luxurious brands?
Thanks for the reply in advance,

In Brisbane there are several major factory outlet districts. Harbourtown on the Gold Coast is a factory outlet shopping center which has many luxury brands - all the names. Perth and Adelaide also have Harbourtowns as well.
In Brisbane we have a factory outlet district called "Stones Corner" which has hundreds of factory outlet shops ranging from cheap to luxury named brands.
On the north side of the city they are currently building the Airport DFS centre which is basically a shopping centre specializing in factory outlet sales.

On the serious side. Try the DFO (Direct Factory Outlet). There's a few in Melbourne. Try this address http://www.factoryoutlet.com.au/ACA_Nov05_03/ACA_Nov05_03.htm

It's a possibility. Just because it's fromthe UK dosen't mean it's going to be real.
