and it has become to be a very important city in Japan.
Once, this city was destroyed,
but it didn't die.

BMXican January 2nd, 2003, 08:38 PM the skyline is everything but spectacular but because this is the first time I see pix of modern day hiroshima and because I really like japanese cities (and because of pic 3) I give it a 7.5/10
SteelCity32 January 2nd, 2003, 09:27 PM another underlooked city. It has come a long way since it was leveled.

X-seed 4000 January 3rd, 2003, 12:50 PM You should post some of the pictures from the other thread you created, these don't do the city much justice. Based on the other pictures I saw, I give the city's skyline an 8.0/10

I givE iT a 7.
parody24 January 5th, 2003, 11:03 AM What a beautiful setting! There's more to Hiroshima
than I imagined. Very densely built. Those were
phenomenal pictures! I give it a 6.5 due to its
relative lack of height, but great density.
Roscoe January 6th, 2003, 04:53 AM Nice and Clean. 8/10
giallo January 6th, 2003, 07:18 PM Not much of a skyline but it looks like a compact, cool city. 6.0. The pictures of the missionairies in the second photo get a 10;).
Puffdaddy January 8th, 2003, 01:18 AM I have been to Hiroshima before but it is very beautiful city. Hiroshima is not only a nice city but its city has excellent soical health care too. Very kind and funny people also~~!
jmancuso January 9th, 2003, 11:55 AM I was just in Hiroshima last month and I was impressed. Very modern and clean and very much so on a human scale similar to that of European and northern American cities. I was also impressed by Kure, Japan (about an hour south of Hiroshima).
Jeff from Winnipeg January 10th, 2003, 06:40 AM It's pretty dense, but nothing that really stands out (from what i've seen in those pics anyways) ->7/10 I do like it, tho.

weirdo April 5th, 2003, 03:06 PM the train (is it?) looks so plain though. a major turn off for such a beautiful city
mimil April 5th, 2003, 03:40 PM It was designed in 1993.
I expect introduction of new vehicles.
weirdo April 5th, 2003, 03:53 PM good thing then. i want to see pics of new trains once they're already there.:D do you take the pics? they're good.

Maconia June 3rd, 2003, 02:41 PM Any city that can rebuild itself from a nuclear attack and total destruction deserves a lot of credit for that alone. Plus the skyline is actually quite nice.
So for a city of it's size I give it 8.5

Some beautiful tall buildings there, but they are too spread out and the skyline lacks a good defining point.
Trances January 14th, 2004, 04:34 AM lots of meduim density there

ryanr April 3rd, 2004, 04:21 PM Modern! Too bad the tallest buildings are far from each other. They would make a nice cluster. 7.5/10
Fragem2001 April 29th, 2004, 08:41 PM I would give a 9/10 because of the level of Developement Since we destroyed it. Got to give big thumbs up to the Japanese. They were a good fight in WWII and would probally be a good fight again if we ever went to war them. If Tokoyo doesn't impress you, nothing will.
Shems71 May 2nd, 2004, 02:27 PM Very good, very impressive as all Japanese cities!
