Not as good of a skyline as Tampa's, but not bad at all, IMO. 7.5/10

God I love St Petes!!

The downtown isnt great, but St Petes beach is one of my favourite places on Earth.

If my family have any money to spend on a holiday, we go there - weve been 3 times in the past 7 years now.

Bloody fantastic place. Pity the downtown area isnt too great.

I would have to agree with The Boy David. I absolutely love St. Pete, and especially St. Pete Beach. This is a city to keep your eye on in the future, as they have some phenomenal plans on the board with regard to both future residential and office buildings in the central core.

A 5.5/10. For now...

Some interesting buildings and a lot of passable skyscrapers. Not compacted skyline in a great nature landscape.

A "5/10" for St. Petersburg. A city like this I think it has a lot of oppurtunities, so come on!

St. Petersburg and Tampa are both going through a large growth stage, so I expect we'll see a lot out of them. St. Petersburg' skyline right now is small, but great. They've even got their own signature tower. I give it a 7/10. :okay:

Much better shot of the skyline. I can see the whole skyline in this one, and St. Pete does have another great city to compete with so,7.5! NOW WE NEED UP TO DATE PICTURES FOR ALL CITIES AND NO PICTURES OVER 1 YEARS OLD! The newer pictures at the end made me score it higher and also angles of a downtown can make a difference! Big up St.Pete,Florida! :) :)

St.Pete has a very nice skyline, nothing really tall but the area is beautiful. I heard that the city won't ever let anything real tall get built because the buildings shadows will cover the beach in the late afternoon. 7.5/10

Actually the real reason is Albert Whitted Airport and that really limits any taller buildings along the waterfront, which is where most of the buildings are now, though as downtown expands that may change.

People should note that in the pictures shown, the skyline only has like 2 300ft buildings... Today it has 3, with 2 u/c, and at least 2 more starting this year. There are numerous midrise projects, which are all serving to make the skyline much more interesting.
