I visited Hong Kong in Dec. 2002.. wow... what a beautiful place.. really loved it.

Hong Kong Jockey Club was awesome.. though I could not go inside due to the rush, but saw that on TV when I returned in my room.

The best thing about Hong Kong was the cleanliness... wish to come back again soon :)

On average, cleanliness is decent at best. Nothing spectacular.

I think HK is clean :)

Though I saw some dirty places around Java Road. Wan Chai, Chai Wan, Kings Road.. these are very clean.

But why we are only talking about cleanliness? HK has a lot of things to talk about.

HK IS clean, i havnt seen any dirty places in Central/Wan Chai, only a few times in kowloon

For such a large city, I thought HK was clean compared to NA cities when I visited last summer.

The ground is clean.. but the same can't be said for the air quality

and blame factories in mainland china for that. hehe

Many mainland factories are owned by HK companies so who's really to be blamed?

I like the Bird Market.

The shops in HK opens very late. Sometimes i had a feeling in the morning that this is a holiday and the shops are closed.

Hong Kong is clear but not fair enough :) subject to which location and area are you looking at

Premium residental zone, Financial district as well as tourist vista points are definitely super :okay: but if you traveling to dense and local residental district are totally differ apparently

Of course it might be caused to a flock of mainland migrant moved into during couple of year as well as the older generation grouping of custom and habit persistency ;)

It is no doubt of confessed to that Hong Kong is the beauty and modern city among Asia

since April 04 or so, u get fine if u get caught by throwing cigarette onto pavement.
I find HK very clean compared to Mainland China; at least the suburbs around Guangzhou (Dali) are dirty
and Shenzhen is very smelly around the train station.

I actually was surprized that Singapore isn't as clean as i thought b4 i went there.

Ladies market in in mid kowloon is cool, I dunno what the real name is for it.
I thought hong kong was clean rubbish wise, but pollution is bad, but that shouldnt detract from what a great place it is!

The only thing i didnt like about Hong Kong is that i couldnt find a decent packet of crisps anywhere!!!
