Synopsis:
Jor-El sends his son, Kal-El, to the planet Earth, where he is taken in by Pa and Ma Kent, eventually growing up to become a hero called Superman, who soon finds himself fighting, kung-fu-in-the-sky style, other Kryptonians who share the superpowers he gets from being under our yellow sun, one of whom is his cousin. the country town feel was perfect. The farm of mr and mrs Kent is located 45km out from tamworth.alot of the movie is when young clark grows up.

Wow, Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor, Good Actor, one of my favourites but abit of a Wierdo.
I also heard news that Marlon Brando will reprise his role as Superman's Father through Special Effects and Digital Technology, dont know how that'll work though.

There isnt any studios in Tamworth, its just for location shots for the farm/country scenes, the rest of the film will be shot at Fox Studios in Sydney.

did anyone see filming iin Sydney CBD yesterday? lots of yellow taxis and area around Wynyard park was location. One of the historic bldgs was used as the "DAILY PLANET" BLDG. LOL

i reckon they should of used the old Sun & daily telegraph bldg for the daily planet building!! its even got a sphere on roof.

located on catlereagh st it was built in 1928 and was first neo-gothic bldg in oz.
