i believe you're talking about Valle D'Aosta, which borders with Switzerland (Canton Valais) and south-eastern France (Haute-Savoie). there are two major tunnels there: the Mont Blanc Tunnel and the Grand Saint Bernard Tunnel.
then moving eastward we have the Piedmont region (Simplon pass) and Lombardy, which borders with the Swiss-Italian (Ticino) Canton. i think you can distinguish Ticino from the other regions of the Swiss Alps by its milder climate and 'mediterranean' flora.

In realtà quando mi prende, come direbbero a Roma, la tigna, è un'esigenza... :D
Poichè (era agennaio mi pare) c'era questo thread aperto da un forumer straniero che chiedeva aiuto a trovare immagini delle autostrade italiane, che a suo dire (ed aveva ragione),erano difficili da trovare nel web, ho pensato:"Ci penso io; il ragazzo, probabilmente, non conoscendo l'Italiano nè il nome delle società legate alle autostrade italiane, non metterà le chiavi di ricerca giuste... Adesso gli trovo in due secondi tante belle immagini"....
Sto cavolo... striminzite immagini delle autostrade: due o tre al massimo... :(
Allora mi sono accanito: "Eh no! Adesso vi scovo io immaginacce del cavolo delle atostrade idiotissime :evil:"
Sono stato lì a provare tutte le chiavi e navigare in una cifra di siti strani, da quelli di progettazione ingegneristica a quelli di "amatori"
Alla fine, quando ho trovato abbastanza foto da postare, erano passate ore ed ero esausto: ma alla fine la mia tigneria l'aveva avuta vinta :D

Il ragazzo che aveva aperto il thread ringraziò delle belle foto postate... e ne chiese di altre...
