I prefer the 80F Dubai Tower over these twins.. look so boring..

I dunno i think they look pretty nice. they are coming up right outside our office windows. They are still working on the foundation.

Well bahraini yes there is very strong demand for these offices. Many international compaines which come in find it very hard to find office space and residential places for thier employees. Many compaines are settling for buildings that are really old and most of the new towers are rented out before they are completed. However I really dont see the demand or the economics for the 80 f building, dubai towers, nor for any other building above 30 or so floors. I think around 15 to 20 25+ floor buildings will be enough for the time !!

No, you guys, they are the same render, but the second picture is from the back view, and the first picture is from the front view. There is a thread about this already, I will just merge them.

i am sure that those towers will fit into the landscape from qatar.

I think so suzan. At least the fascade will be covered by the games, since the completion date is October, next month! Let's say a month or two delay. It will finish more less by December.

Frankly... With the rate construction is going on in the West Bay, I don't think they'll be finished by the games. Maybe the short one (26f) but not the tall one...

It's funny to see that the 26-floor tower (on the left) is well in advance compared to the 40 story-one on the right..they still look like twins for the moment, but not for long!

^^ Actually it looks like an optical illusion I think since if you count the number of stories of the taller tower, it is almost 40 stories. If you stand side by side you will see clearly the taller tower.

i think the short one will be the tall one and the tall one will be the short one really judjing from the pics.

I’m sorry, but the tall one remains the one we talked about 3 posts ago for the viewer’s attentions is not focused on the vanishing line. The problem illustrated here is typical of a subdued impression, making the left tower appear in a ‘contrasty’ foreground. To the alert eye it will become apparent that the second tower is actually the first one, not the one in the left part. Regarding the other one, it is directly on the right, but not making it directly the tallest one. This is because of the artificiality of the left part of the pic, making the left tower unambiguously rise to a point where it’s not as short as the render but actually not shorter either in reality, definitely short though in comparison to how short it could have been given that it’s actually the tallest tower of the two.

^^ I love this pic. Actually we never get to see this side of the building. Its always the other circular side. Anyway, the cladding is sooo slow but at least we know what it will look like. The cladding on the bottom looks wonderful.

Hey People...

I am back into the forum after practicaly a month on vacation and then two weeks of hard work upon my return..

the thing is that the towers dont only look good from the outside but the show flat in the residential tower is quite impressive...

Finishing is great...

the people that will live there will have an access to the roof swimming Pool (covered), a Gym, a Spa, Beauty Salon...

24h security and maintenance services... access cards at the entrances of the flats (no keys)...

Moreover, the last three floors that are inhabitable (35 to 37) will be luxury apartments:
- One 4 bedroom flat and two 3 bedroom flats/ floor... sizes will range from over 306sq. to 393 sq. m.

the lower Floors (between 2 and 34) have a blend of
- two 3 bedroom apartments
-three 2 bedroom apartments
sizes are between 183 to 222 sq.m.

You cannot buy in these apartments, they will most definitely be for rent, but I also thought they were just office towers.

The whole project is set for completion by June 2007.

Alfardan is now working on fixing the cladding and glass but also on constructing the Commercial podium.

I saw the show flat in the tower... quite impressive

The prices of the apartments?? Well... You dont wanna know... Very High!!

But compared to other towers i visited and with respect to the finishing, furnishing and services offered; the Alfardan Towers are Ok vis a vis prices...

And yes, its rental!

We have a bet with one of the al fardan sales people for a dinner. He bet on it being ready for occupation by 1 May. The podium will be finished later
