I am worried for it because it looks mostly wood. they should have made it with some other stronger material that wont burn down to easily and get termite infestation

the architecture looks GREAT :okay: but look a bit scary though ;)

You are right,I had heard from TV that it is made from all wood.
But don't worry about termite or fire , I think they have well prepared about it.
They had been constructed this thing for 10-15 years and expect to finish it in the next 15 years.(2020)

It is one awesome building, unfortunately I had only seen it from the distance.

The sponsor of this building also runs the "Muang Boran / Ancient Village" in Samut Prakan. This is an outstanding attraction showing downscaled (by half?) but faithful replications of the most important sacral buildings in Thailand. It's a huge site, a couple of square kms I think. Visit it (instead of the crappy crocodile farm in the same city :sleepy: ), I recommend it 100%.

It was kind to Thai traditional craft and knowledge from ancient and surely be stronger enough :) caused some sort of tree are superior quality for using as building raw material and termite will not be easily be infested

Like as Chinese and Japan, mostly historical building, more than few thousand year ago, were built by wooden and still be alive till now ;)

I think it's so fragile that it's made by wood.
They should try to find any method to preserve this place
to be in better condition.
