Welcome back to Shikoku. Here are the pictures of Day two of my tour. The highlight was the Oboke gorge.A little late.About 2 months too late.Sorry about the delay.Infact I was back there just last weekend,my first Tandem passenger ride, enjoying the sights of Kochi prefecture, not far from the gorge. Please sit back and enjoy Day 2 on the back of the skywave.I was too busy riding to take too many photos. The light was also not really suitable for taking pics.

The inter-Shikoku highway. After a quick curise over this bridge from the city of Takamatsu,I arrived at the start of the Oboke gorge.A wonderful sight.

The road in some sections follows the moutainside high above the stream

Kurabashi bridge. The most famous of all the traditional wooden thatched Edo era bridges in Japan. Not only were they necessary for transport.Waring armies would cut them down to slow down the enemy in battle.

Another one of these traditional bridges. This one is much higher from the ground.

The snow was very light in the gorge.Nothing like what I expericence last Sunday(March 13th) while touring back in the area.It was very heavy.Photos of that tour another time.

Route 32 from Takamatsu to the city of Kochi, where I was just last Sudnay,is one the best roads to tour on in the country.Gentle curves at a nice crusing speed of 80km/h makes it a perfect ride for the skywave.
