They were suposed to be in white concrete, but there was no money for it. They probably would be wayyy better. Anyway, they are original ;)

the pool is dirty because they hadn't full it yet. in winter or spring nobody go to the swimming pool. it's cold!!!! :D

Amazing building, is true that is dirty, but if you clean it you will see the shapes, and then enjoy with the multiples forms that provide us.

That pool is gorgeous, it has to be wonderful take a swim seen all Madrid.

and about the architect, just search in any architecture book about the XX century, and you'll find him... when this tower was build, was an icon of modern architecture, in the line of frank lloyd wright. just look the design or the plant, amazing..
now look to any of the 'new' towers in construction all over the world in old style.. if this one was restored and cleaned could be a great surprise.
for me, is one of the best designs when it was build
