Large open air museum of preserved buildings from the Meiji and Taisho Eras, moved from locations throughout Hokkaido to this one spot. If i got it right its old animal breeding place from meiji era. Somone from america fell in love in that place and restored it? and now goverment agreed to turn it into memorial hall for animal breeding in hokkaidou? Damn my nihongo is rusty :( i have cute little half-japanese girl teaching me but we speak more than read i definetly need to start training more reading skills :(

Ah, Sendai. So lovely, yet so underrated. It must be quite a spectacular feast for the eyes when autumn fully hits.

I also heard that the city, and Miyagi in general, has a more tolerable climate than Tokyo and Osaka.

I thought Niigata, and Koshin'etsu in general, were considered to be in central Japan.

Yup, it's one of the things I love about my hometown. There's also 2 very, very large parks: Moerenuma Koen (about twice the size of Makomanai Koen, the largest one I've posted so far) and Shinrin Koen (many times bigger than Moerenuma!), though the latter one is mostly located within Ebetsu city, a suburb of Sapporo, and it's almost completely covered in forest. I'll post pics of those later.

You should definitely visit, it's an amazing city with friendly people and great food. There's always something different to do depending on the season (except for that awful transition between winter and spring, when there's slush all over the place), so keep that in mind when you plan your trip. Visitor Center

With a floor space of 5,328 m² in total, the pyramid has 3 floors and a roof floor overlooking a large part of the park. The top floor houses the gallery of Isamu Noguchi, and the miniature model of the park is also located. A restaurant and museum shop are located in the ground floor.

Nice visitor center. They need to plant more trees there though.

There are actually a lot of trees on the site, they just happen to be crowded in specific areas, especially along the eastern part where several playgrounds are located. There are around 3000 cherry blossom trees planted at the site, which makes for a popular place for Hanami. Mind you, the park has only been open since 2005. Also I guess the vast open spaces are part of the appeal of the park.

日本のことはあまり知られてないので、語りだすと住民がびっくりします。

日本人は北欧は海賊の国々というイメージを持っていて本当の北欧に行ったらあまりのおだやかさにびっくりします。

結構ゾロゾロとみんな行くんですね。恥をかく前にやめておいたほうがいいです。
元々北欧はローマに侵略され頭がおかしくなるぐらい何度もきてついには貧しい浮浪者になって、近隣を襲い始めただけなのに。つまり海賊だったわけではありません。

さて、札幌の観光ですが札駅と大通りまでがベストだと思います。
ススキノは独特のやらしい香水を使ったギャルばかりなので。

僕も仕事柄かかわるのですが、仕事は正社員採用がほとんどです。
コールセンターなんか正社員を使っているのでとても親切に答えてくれます。

いま東京も派遣会社が次々に潰れていって正社員求人が増えたところです。

ではまた、
通勤では溜池山王までいくので40分程度かかります。
何区に住んでるかはヒミツです。

摩周湖の水って飲んだ事ありますか？
昔は世界一の透明度をほこっていたものを誰か馬鹿者が降りていって生物を養殖したり観光者がゴミを捨てていったり、すっかりです。今は透明度が戻ってきているみたいです。

Asahikawa pop:350000, the second largest city in Hokkaido.
Many people know, Sapporo, Hakodate, Otaru and misunderstanding Hakodate is its position.

Seibu department store remains in Asahikawa but Tobu retreated from Kitami (pop: 110000). Those cities which have department store is Sapporo, Asahikawa, Hakodate (pop: 280000) and Obihiro (pop: 170000)

But Hokkaido's decline has stopped and it has been cleaned up in 2008, when I am back home for a while. And that is the year I met Aiko-chan afterwards as I got a new work place office in Tameikesanno, Tokyo.

Onneto, bordering in between Kushiro and Tokachi region. Amazing transparency. The most transparent lake in the world is located in Kushiro region, where the Ainu used to drink the water, which is also sold in vending machines around Kushiro. It's downgraded into the world's second most transparent lake after Baikal, Siberia but recovering today.

Are you a protectionist or just trying to be funny? While Japanese branches of Western companies aren't run as well as domestic ones, they're still better managed from over there than for example, here in the U. S. Also, offices in Japan are located in the cities instead of sprawling, auto-dependent suburbs, which usually the case in America. I don't know if it's partly due to a different work ethic or efficient public transportation, but we used to be similar before the 1970s.

Anyway, Sapporo Station and Hotel Monterey look fantastic.

That is not what I meant to.
It's just not clever choice.
For the Japanese, simply the Japanese companies are better than the overseas ones, it's no hardwork, relaxed and more fun.

I have no regret that I have left SAP.
Probably you have to see how the today's Japanese companies run.
I have no intention to use English at work place.

My hair style is not English any more. Yayoi or Korean and North China origined Japanese like middle seperated hair style and the British empire. My English works well but simply I am tired of the workload.

Now I talk like the Norwegian normally and my wife is looks like so Swedish. It's amazingly fitting. :lol:

I have now a spare room in my brain to imagine and fantasise.

Is Sapporo has spring festival?

Not really, at least not any major one, maybe some small local ones. Thing is, Sapporo doesn't get much of a typical "Spring." Snow (and later slush) still covers much of the city in April, and temperatures remain cold until late May. The upside is that Summer is very pleasant, warm yet not too hot, and not humid. Most of the festivals take place in Summer, like the Beer Garden and the Yosakoin Festival.

There's no workload on the desk at the moment and I will now post.
Perhaps there will not be the overwork today and finish up at 18:00.
