This is a picture of a new Riyadh office building that was finished a year ago. Nothing special, but I thought the building has nice architecture.

Riyadh needs more buildings for a city of that size, especially now that it's a mega city.

Bahraini Spirit, the city has a lot of buildings, but most of them are like the one above, limited to an average of about 10 floors. You do have a point though. Its really wierd. I mean they have millions of people, billions of dollars, and land prices are becoming extremely high. They have all the ingredients to spur high rise development, but for some reason, the city continues to spread out horizontally. ITS ANNOYING.

You should always keep in mind saudis dont like appartments and when you talk about office buildings kuwaitis and Saudis are very alike they prefer to decorate the interior with gold than to the exterior thought there is a guy who did that in kuwait exterior interior, i heard he sold his 2 storey gold office building but to whom? ill chck this summer :P

That's a cool building and I belive it's now the regional office for American Express. There are another similar 5 or 6 buildings under construction on the same street.
