ese guyz are cool:) i was shocked when i saw them cleanin up the area

did anyone else notice the 2 white vans parked at the top of the parkade in very pic, they maust be long term parkers.

Here is a model that shows what the site will look like when complete. Notice that all of the surface parking lots are gone, and replaced with an entertainment district.

The final product is great. I really like the designs.

Nice project, definitely a lot better than what is there now. How tall will the building be?

^^ It looks to be 18 floors and somewhere between 250-275 feet tall.

but to me the tower looks a bit fat and not with a good height too...

Does anyone else think it's odd that H&R BLOCK is building an oval building???

Great pic's, i personally enjoy this type of documentation in construction. these shots bring back to mind a term i've not heard used in a long time, "urban renewal". this looks to be a fairly large project, is H&R Block financing the project, or are there other private or city agencys involved?. and also is there to be a residential component in this development? most of the projects out here, (Los Angeles) of this size, have at least 1/3 of the total development sq.footage, devoted to residential, there seems to be a damand for it in the downtown areas of alot of citys, and the city of Long Beach has had much success with about 3 projects around the same size as this one. but whoever was the one to come up with the idea of the entertainment center or component, aspect of these developments is the one to thank for there success worldwide. i'm sure this project will be a great addition to the downtown area of Kansas City.

A company by the name of Cordish is developing the entertainment district while H&R Block is doing their HQ. At the same time Kansas City is also building a brand new arena.

A good deal of residential is part of this district as well, and several residential towers are in the works. This is a huge improvement to Kansas City's downtown and should bring the life back to it. The entire district will be known as "The Power & Light District" and should be similar to the LA Live project.

Its not a huge tower, but KC is jut a modest mid-sized city here in the US, so 300 meter towers aren't really what we are about.
