Braemar Hill is located east of the Midlevels district, just above the dense towers of the middle-class North Point district on Hong Kong Island. However, the view from the lower parts of Braemar Hill are quite good, with full views of the skyline and the harbour, yet they are not as expensive.

Residences further uphill have views of the eastern part of Victoria Harbour towards Harbourfront Landmark, Lion Rock, and the old Kai Tak Airport.

Bus 27 from North Point Ferry => North Point => Braemar Hill
