great list, thanks. It's nice to see the amount of downtown condos that are at a decent scale... 16 are at 12 stories or under.

Wow there's so many...

Btw can anybody tell me what this is:
Etobicoke - 2200 Lakeshore Blvd. West III, 39 st. Proposed

valantino
March 26th, 2005, 06:09 PM
^A 39 storey proposed tower in Etobicoke, part of a 3 tower proposal for 2200 Lake Shore Blvd. at Parklawn (snicker)

Filip
March 26th, 2005, 06:46 PM
^Why the snicker?:D
Wasn't that supposed to be a 45 storey proposal? Guess the Etobicoke board of planning cut it down as I would've thought.

I saw a few 6 storeys so I thought that was all. If there's more, well then I won't even try to keep up.

"Wasn't that supposed to be a 45 storey proposal? Guess the Etobicoke board of planning cut it down as I would've thought."

Since 2001, its been 39 storeys however the developer may be attempting to increase the height (rendering of it on Kirkor's website shows around 45 floors)

I honestly did not even post all the projects. Just the important ones

Quite a few have incorrect floor counts but a great compilation nevertheless

Travis007
March 26th, 2005, 09:52 PM
^ I'm trying my best to have all the correct info. Most of the floor counts aren't that off. Emporis is a b**** right now. Having an error every few pages. :(

As for Sapphire, I'm really not sure of what the correct floor count is. Emporis says 88 with the height changes and stuff....

I'm not sure I know what half of that stuff is. This thread should be stickied. :)

It's in about the actual centre of downtown....Bay & College.

A few hundred metres (maybe 1/2-3/4km?) north of the CBD.

Regan4000
June 17th, 2005, 08:18 PM
yeah.. Bay/college.... pretty much a perfect location. Both this and 1 King West are around the same height, but I find 1KW get's dwarfed by the CBD. RoCP should add great height and density where it is. Just imagine if they built the two towers at yonge/bloor right in the CBD, nobody would even notice..

Regan

rapideye95
June 17th, 2005, 09:18 PM
^^^one king west seems very dwarfed...i agree...CBD is such a huge cluster of buildings...with one king west being so thin it's almost like it's not even there at times

Travis007
June 17th, 2005, 09:39 PM
Both this and 1 King West are around the same height,
Regan

Not even, 1KW is 579 ft. and ROCP1 is only 505 ft. Even though ROCP is 52s and 1KW is 51s.

June 28th, 2005, 03:23 AM
^^It's not really necessary to include buildings that are still approved/Proposed or have been completed for some time now. I just included the towers that were U/C, in sales, or have been recently completed. And Town Centre court is now EQ1 and whatever they'll name the next phases.

When I see some of those proposals on the market, I'll add'em to the list. I haven't updated the list in a while so it might be very incompete/up to date.

Jaye101
June 28th, 2005, 09:47 AM
Well they included it for North York and the others *rolling eyes* Even if so, they still missed a few.

Update it from my list :D

Travis007
June 28th, 2005, 10:28 PM
^What? Every building on the list for North York is recent, nothing wrong with that. And I just updated the list, not a whole big difference as you can see. And my Scarborough list is pretty accurate. There's nothing worth adding onto the list from your list.Everything that is proposed/approved I won't add because my list only includes buildings that are in sales or U/C or recently completed. The two 35s are on the "Projects not on market yet" list, and the others aren't worth mentioning.

some one give me some information about those 7 donmills condos that will be at donmills and sheppard at forest manor...is it still going up or not anymore...I heared they're all like 40 to 50 floors.

cassius
July 7th, 2005, 04:15 PM
No, they weren't approved by the City as far as I know. At least not in the form which they were proposed.

Yeah, there are some projects that aren't here. Like this condo U/C at Kingston & Eglinton in Scarborough.
