gothicform March 30th, 2005, 06:22 AM it wont be the tallest resi in the uk. good news none the less.
Brizer March 30th, 2005, 06:31 AM OK, you've contradicted the statement that Eastgate will be the tallest residential building in UK - actually, I think the Fin Review said Europe - so now prove it. State the contrary evidence. If Eastgate isn't, what is/will be?
dgnr8 March 30th, 2005, 06:41 AM It'll be 188m. The Turning Torso in Sweden is what, 192m or something? It won't be the tallest resi though. When built, it'll hold tallest mixed use for a bit though.
gothicform March 30th, 2005, 06:53 AM besides, there's a certain 200m+ residential tower in london. also eastgate will be partly hotel and the residential element will be smaller than the very soon to begin construction st georges wharf tower at 181m. as dgen says itll be the tallest mixed use for a bit, probably unless lbt or columbus tower start first and it looks like columbus will start first. the statement from the developer is incorrect. columbus is 237m tall and has hotel, serviced apartments and office space in it. lbt has hotel office space and serviced apartments and is 310m tall. st georges wharf is entirely residential and 181m tall.
CULWULLA March 30th, 2005, 07:04 AM tallest resi in Manchester? lol
gothicform March 30th, 2005, 07:12 AM maybe, depends on the component size of canopus but it could well be :)
