I was just wondering what Shanghai looked like in the early 1990s. I found out that a lot of its building were built in 1996 onwards.

There are a couple of mid-rise buldings scattered around but it looks really sparse and dirty. Notice how none of Pudong's skyscrapers have been built yet. Yeah this one shows the situation pretty well, although there was a bigger picture showing Pudong only. Just incredible how things can change in just more than 10 years. |
