I don't think there is any post about this rather important condominium project, one of the most important of the Bukit Batok area.

It was still under construction in august last year, but nearly finished. Now it is opened and apparently quite successful. It is sandwiched between Bukit Batok MRT station and West Mall shopping centre, so the location is rather convenient.

There are some impressive 30 storeys HDB (I'll put photos as soon as I can find the appropriate thread ^^ ), and a few other 25+ storeys condos. But nothing under construction at the moment, it seems.

My friend has a unit on 27th floor of Guilin View, must try to get up there to do a panorama..it offers a great view of the green space there :)

Btw, yes, the building is rather generic, but it doesn't look so in an area mostly populated with HDB blocks... I guess it would look very generic on Scotts Road or Novena area ^^

Saw the real thing, and I am actually very impressed! From the outside, it has a good layout and leafy balconies, very good to live in!

Got to agree, it doesn't look bad at all to me as well.

aniwae, this project has great foresight. Becoz, the concept of big balconies are coming back. Juz look at seaview ,belvedere and some of the latest projects, the have big balcony or even 2 balconies... What a project. Next to mrt and shopping mall, very wonderful idea....
