Is it legal to distribute leaflets to public on the streets like at Oxford Circus etc?

You know with litter etc

I honestly don't know, I don't think it should be a problem, I guess it depends on what's in the leaflets.

I think it's quite legal to distribute leaflets. I don't think you need to get a special licence from the police or the coulcil.

Its legal in the midlands - not sure if there are any bylaws in oxford street though

I'm fairly sure you're allowed to distribute leaflets freely on any street.

Oxford Street's bleding reiculous. I've never seen anything like it when it comes to flyers. After repeatedly saying no thankyou, I noticed what must have been a local just accept them, on automatic pilot and then deposit the whole lot in the first bin he saw. A good tip in my opinion.

Sounds like a Uni town during freshers week, every bar and club within 10 miles will have people giving out flyers.
