"A pencil" is my favourite but "Spinnaker tower" is also rated highly IMO.

Well naturally I've voted for the most beautiful..(ahem)..but I have to say that Gothicforms Swiss Re would have been my runner upper! :)

A Pencil for me :)

Spinnaker Tower gets my vote. In my opinion, this is probably the best modern building in Britain at the moment (even though it's really just an observation tower), and this picture captures its scale and impact on Portsmouth's skyline beautifully - well done midgeblackandwhite.

Read my first post... I forgot to make the poll public initially so had to delete the original thread and re-post it. At the time that I deleted it "A Pencil" had 3 votes including mine and eveything else had zero.

Spinnaker tower ist sexy.

'a pencil' for me - really demonstrates the tremendous scale of 1CS and Canary Wharf. It just needs a flock of birds flying by to make it perfect.

I'd vote for 'a pencil', but it's so much easier to get impressive skyscraperey pictures in London than elsewhere, especially places like Portsmouth. So because of that, I'll go for #1.

Spinnaker Tower really looks like it should be somewhere in the UAE. All the colours in that picture really complement it too (the blues and sandy colours).

I'm also suffeing from fatigue of Swiss Re and Canary wharf towers. We need some freh ones in London - quick!

Swiss RE (No 2), I like this buildings alien presence in this picture when compared to the surrounding landscape. Wish it was in Liverpool.
