My favorites have to be 1390 Brickell Bay and 50 Biscayne :)
The building structures and the amenities are just awesome.

I would say 10 Museum Park because its slender and wont block views of future towers to the west. Mary Brickell Village because it adds life to the west Brickell area. Park Place II because its a new office tower :)

10 Museum Park, Soleil, Premiere Towers, Midtown 4

I'll think of a few more later

10 Museum Park, Jade, Espirito Santo, Continuum, Marquis, Jade Beach II (last on the list of 6 only because of the location, put it between the brackets of the metromover or in South Beach and there is no question that JBII would be first).

the performing arts center, cause it's finally coming after being planned for literally decades. it also gives miami 2 signature buildings & a level prestige it didnt have before.

after that, i've always liked marinablue for some reason. hopefully the green & blure glass facades don't look tacky next to each other. mary brickell village, met 1 & 3 & the premiere towers are right there too.

Met 3, Premiere Towers, Park Place II(the new office tower), the George Perez-Sheraton project, and maybe the Lynx project depending on renderings..

Why....

Beautiful building... sleek and sexy and not over the top gaudy.
It exists, not just some rendering.
Trailblazer, being one of the first in the area.
It's location makes it stand out.

Net: Right place, right look, right time.

For now it's got the mantle until another one goes from the drawing board to finished.

Everyone :) , My 5 choices go like this,
# 1, Met 3, Tallest, slim, not bulky, the Art box spire on top will probably be lit up at night as the tallest tower over Miami.
# 2 The Everglades on the Bay, These two 49-Plus 500 foot Towers are the Dream on Biscayne bvld accross from the Bayfront Amphilthreater Park and Bayside will make tourists dream of us as a future city.
# 3 The Opera Tower, the Tallest Tower so far by feet in the Uptown-Midtown Arts district area, the " Last Jewel " of the Great Developer Tibor Hollo as he retires very soon.
# 4 The ONYX 2, this 52 floor tall giant in an area that's been deterioted for years will shine over Biscayne Bay in the Uptown Arts area.
# 5 A four - way Tie, The Marina Blue Tower / 10 Museum Park Tower / 900 Biscayne Tower / Marquis Tower, I say all four of these towers will be the Orange Bowl King's Top of his Crown Area, As cruise Ships passengers, over 3 million annully ride by these 4 towers to their cruise ships from I-395, will stare at all 4 Towers and gleam will shine in their eyes and say " WOW ", Miami has changed into a future city of our nation.
oh, I almost forgot, GO CRANES !!! :)

Blue really is beautiful, it cuts such a nice line in the sky on the way to Miami Beach...but that is where my love ends. You can't really walk to anything.
It does have great access to I-195, but that is trait that you look for in a rest stop, a gas station or a fast food restaurant.
Correction. There are some things that you can walk to from Blue....the Taco Bell, and the Shell Station are only 2 blocks away! That is, provided the 3 lanes of east bound traffic whizzing by at 45 mph don't run you over.
At pre construction, 10 Museum was about the same $$ as Blue, 10 Museum park is about the same distance "Blue to Taco Bell walk" to the $400 Million Performing Arts Center, the American Airlines Arena, the 24 hour entertainment district, and 200 yards to get on the Metromover that will take you anywhere in the CBD/Brickell, or 100 yards to Museum Park.
Now that is a good location.

according to the forum bible (ie. the city's development spreadsheet) ten museum is gonna be 528ft. & hatter is right. it's been sold out for a while. although, flipped units might be available. gonna cost you a pretty penny, though.

My friend, I have a different point of view on Blue. Different strokes for different folks maybe. The access to 195 avoiding all the city traffic that will happen in downtown when everything is built up will be a big plus. And 10 minutes to Miami Beach or Airport is a dream my friend. Also, believe it or not many people will still want to use their cars no matter how close things are (at least upper echelon folks). Also, Blue is very close to Midtown Miami, Design district and new arts districit that just got announced. Plus ALL units have great unobstructed water views that can't be blocked. Lastly, not everyone want sto be jammed in right in it all (like living in Times Square in NYC what a nightmare, I'll take the upper east side or west side and take a cab to broadway or madison square garden or lincoln center), some people want to be close enough but still able to get away from all the hustle and bustle. And by the way "path of progress" principle says those taco bells and texaco stations will ventually give way to new construction (thouh nothing wrong with having a gas station nearby for easy fill ups).

Don't get me wrong 10 museum is agreat location and the pluses you mention are right on. Just want to put the pluses of Blue on the table too (aside from it's world class design and features). Lastly, checking prices Blue is a much better value right now than 10 museum.
