*»‬فورسيزون*« ‬تنشئ فندقاً* ‬في* ‬البحرين بـ *٠٠٢ ‬مليون دولار

كشفت مصادر في* ‬شركة فنادق فور سيزون العالمية بان الاجراءات النهائية لانشاء فندق ضمن نفس السلسلة في* ‬البحرين قاربت على الانتهاء*. ‬موضحا بان التكلفة ستتراوح ما بين *٠٥١ ‬و*٠٠٢ ‬مليون دولار بما فيها قطعة الارض*.‬
واوضحت المصادر في* ‬تصريح خاص لـ* »‬الأيام الاقتصادي*« ‬بان الفندق من المؤمل ان* ‬يتكون من *٨١ ‬طابقاً* ‬وسيشيد بالقرب من مشروع مرفأ البحرين المالي* ‬ومقابل مركز التجارة العالمي،* ‬موضحة بان كل طابق سيكون مائلا عن الطابق الذي* ‬اعلاه ليعطي* ‬الفندق رونقا مختلفة عن فنادق فور سيزون في* ‬كافة دول العالم*.‬
واضافت بان الفندق سيكون جاهزا خلال العام *٨٠٠٢ ‬وسيضم اكثر من *٠٤٢ ‬غرفة وستكون جميع الغرف والاجنحة مطلة على البحر،* ‬كما سيتم اقامة مواقف سيارات خاصة للفندق الذي* ‬سيضم قاعة كبرى للمؤتمرات*.‬
من جهة اخرى اشار مدير عام فندق فور سيزون الدوحة سايمون بي* ‬كاسون بان الفندق المكون من *٨١ ‬طابقاً* ‬ويضم *٧٥ ‬جناحا سيتم افتتاحه التشغيلي* ‬خلال الاسبوع الثالث من الشهر الجاري* ‬على ان* ‬يتم الافتتاح الرسمي* ‬في* ‬شهر سبتمبر من العام *٥٠٠٢ .‬
وقال بان الفندق اعد لتطل جميع* ‬غرفة الـ *٠٣٢ ‬غرفة على البحر،* ‬موضحا بان *٠٤٥ ‬موظفا من *٦٣ ‬جنسية تعمل في* ‬الفندق الذي* ‬يقع في* ‬المجمع الغربي* ‬الذي* ‬يضم عمارات سكنية وفلل ديلوكس بالاضافة الى ميناء وبرجين وملاعب تنس واسكواش و*٨ ‬مطاعم*.‬
واضاف بان اجمالي* ‬عدد فنادق فور سيزون في* ‬العالم تبلغ* ‬حاليا *٤٦ ‬فندقا وسيتم خلال الاعوام الثلاثة المقبلة افتتاح فنادق في* ‬الاسكندرية ودمشق ومسقط والبحرين وعدد آخر من الدول ليصبح اجمالي* ‬فنادق فور سيزون بنهاية العام *٨٠٠٢ ‬أكثر من *٠٩ ‬فندقا*.‬
واضاف بان اتفاقية ادارة فندق فور سيزون الدوحة مدتها *٥٤ ‬عاما بدأت في* ‬العام *٧٩٩١ .‬
من جهة اخرى اشارت مصادر لـ* »‬الأيام الاقتصادي*« ‬بان كلفة فندق فور سيزون الدوحة بلغت *٠٠٢ ‬مليون دولار وبدأ العمل فيه عام *١٠٠٢ .‬

I've read the Al Haya hospital and it was in alayam.

DL, you can change the title then hehe and let me add, it opens in 2008 and has 18 floors and 230 rooms.

Finally, my vision of towers on the corniche is starting to happen :).

Hehe should be, it'll cost $200 million and is a 4 seasons hehe plus a perstigious location, no way a 4 star will be located there.

By the way,

After I read this great article with the sort od structure mentioned in the paper, I was so excited that Icontacted them directly by e-mail, they (4 seasons) said there were no definate plans to build a hotel in Bahrain.

Really, than what, that article is a hoax of some sort? It says that Bahrain along with a few other cities should have a hotel within the next 3 years. Casanova, can you please tell us where did you read this (coudln't find it in the economy section of neither alayam and akhbar alkhaleej)?

Typically, an investor builds the building and then the 4 seasons runs it. I'll contact them again (after moody) sometime later to see the validity of this article.

I read this two days ago in Alayam...

I'll doubt alayam will write an article as such when it's not actually goin to be carried out, although that could be the case. But I kinda agree with DL, maybe it's in it's early stages.

I wish they come .. We are in great need for new names and property in town.

I do agree, its time more stuff comes in and it's great to see projects flowin in these days. The second article above was about a hospital, this is for the english speakers:

AN intensive programme to train Bahraini medical professionals will be implemented in a new private hospital, which will be opened soon, it was revealed yesterday.

The BD28 million Al Hayat Specialist Hospital, which will be opened in two phases, will be launched with a BD3m first phase in Gudaibiya this June.

The project will create several jobs for Bahraini health care professionals, said director Daven Mehta.

"We are working with the Labour Ministry to recruit qualified Bahrainis," he told a Press conference at the Gulf Hotel, in the presence of officials from Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune, India, Meo Clinic, in Germany, and Aldoseri Group, Bahrain, which are promoting the project.

"Bahraini nurses who graduate from the College of Health Sciences (CHS) will be sent to Ruby Hall Clinic, a 500-bed specialist hospital in Pune, for specialised training."

The first phase is a four-storey building, housing 52 beds, two operation theatres and multi-speciality clinics.

"Among the most sophisticated equipment to be installed in the hospital is a BD600,000 cardiac 64 CT scan, the first of its kind in the region," said director Dr Purvez Grant, vice-chairman of the Ruby Hall Clinic and one of India's most eminent cardiologists.

This equipment will help diagnose heart diseases without doing an angiogram.

Dr Grant has conducted more than 80,000 angiograms and 25,000 angioplasties at Ruby Hall, and has also 20,000 heart bypass surgeries over the past 18 years to his credit.

The second phase, costing about BD25m, will have advanced heart surgery, cancer treatment and kidney transplant facilities.

"The first phase itself will have 17 specialities, including state-of-the-art laboratory and imaging departments," said director-administration Dr P Ramesh.

"We shall also have a fully-fledged telemedicine services.

"Our aim is to complement the excellent services already provided by the Health Ministry."

Director Adel Aldoseri said the Bahrain group was proud to join hands with one of India's leading healthcare groups to provide the best possible medical services to people in the Gulf in general and Bahrain in particular.
