Englishman April 5th, 2005, 01:22 PM it's a good date isn't it. Blunther April 5th, 2005, 01:23 PM Why's it always on a Thursday? I'd like to stay up and watch the results, but I'll have work the next day... Gareth April 5th, 2005, 01:24 PM Or they should give us all Friday off. ;) dinp April 5th, 2005, 01:26 PM Any party who gives me the day off on Friday gets my vote  Blunther April 5th, 2005, 01:29 PM Four opinion polls published on Tuesday suggest Labour's lead over the Tories has slipped to between 2% and 5%. They suggest the Lib Dems trail the Tories by between 10 and 16 points. But one of the polls also suggests the Tories are 5% ahead of Labour among those "certain to vote". When did that happen?? I never thought anyone would vote for Howard's lot. The Queen is expected to dissolve Parliament formally next Monday but MPs and peers are likely to wind up this Thursday or Friday. Fucking hell, it's alright for some ain't it?! dinp April 5th, 2005, 01:31 PM What do I want from a goverment? Lower taxes, but an unstable economy or Higher taxes, but a stable, growing economy --------- "Sometimes you have to pay for quality" Blunther April 5th, 2005, 01:34 PM I'd love the Lib Dems to get a few more seats. They'v been steadily rising. 20something to 40something to 50something seats I think. I'd love to see 'em break a ton. dinp April 5th, 2005, 01:37 PM I detest the tory party with a passion, I hope the libdems steal all their seats  Change the labour leader to Prezza and we can put an alcoholic against an agressive lout in the election campaign :D Keiron Dyer and Lee Bowyer can take a side each  eusebius April 5th, 2005, 02:04 PM http://www.philhope.org.uk/youth/questionnaire.htm http://www.philhope.org.uk/youth/images/qu1.gif Europe before skate board parks indeed. We're flattered! Smileyface April 5th, 2005, 02:07 PM Dinp, just heard on Radio one that they are questioning voters in Corby on their newsbeat programme later on....didn't realise that Corby was such a pivotal Election hotspot! Blunther April 5th, 2005, 02:08 PM I'd have thought skateboard parks could come under leisure :jippo: JDRS April 5th, 2005, 02:09 PM Some schools get the day off because they use the school as a polling station, but not mine. Blunther April 5th, 2005, 02:22 PM Dinp, just heard on Radio one that they are questioning voters in Corby on their newsbeat programme later on....didn't realise that Corby was such a pivotal Election hotspot! Smileyface April 5th, 2005, 03:33 PM Oh, I thought you'd gone! When you leaving? Thursday. Zim Flyer April 5th, 2005, 03:34 PM To quote Blackadder: "This election will be about policies not personalities, mainly because our candidate doesn't have a personality". EarlyBird April 5th, 2005, 05:38 PM I'd have thought skateboard parks could come under leisure :jippo: Yeah, but that would make leisure facilities more important to the people than crime prevention... As if anyone would accept a poll that said that! Pobbie Rarr April 5th, 2005, 05:41 PM Skateboard parks? Surely that's discrimination against skater kids. Why not class townies and trendy clubs as issues too? :weird: 05/05/05? Hmmm... I bet the religious nuts will be out in force next year though, on 06/06/06. Medo April 5th, 2005, 05:44 PM 05/05/05? I just don't understand Blair's fascination with occult dates.
