This is not a contest about "Which bridge looks the best", it's about which one offers the most spectacular drive/views.

Well then . . . what be your answer?

My choice . . .

Talmadge Memorial Bridge - Savannah, GA

The views from this bridge of Savannah and the surrounding area are some of the best in Georgia, IMO. The only thing that comes close is the view of Savannah from the top floor of the Westin. Here are some pictures from the bridge (from, not of) . . .

I haven't been across this bridge yet, but I am sure this bridge in Charleston offers some great views.

The view will be really great.

one of the best looking bridges in the southeast is the double concete arch on the Natchez Trace south of Nashville.

The Causeway...When in the middle, you see nothing but water...the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen comes from driving on this bridge South towards the Southshore of Lake Pontchartrain in Metropolitan New Orleans. The bridge connects Mandeville and Metairie in Metro New Orleans. http://www.thecauseway.com/

I like the Venetian Causeway, connecting Miami Beach with Miami proper, along with several of the islands in between. Also, it's not a freeway, which makes for a pleasant bike ride. http://www.volkert.com/images/Venetian_Causeway__Miami_FL.jpg

I like the San Jacinto bridge in Houston whenre you can see the monument and the Battleship Texas. Also the Houston Ship Channel bridge(I-610 South) where on one side you can see the monument and the smokestacks on one side and beautiful downtown Houston, The Reliant Complex and Uptown while on the other. My last favorite is the highest bridge in the South. The one in Bridge city, TX, I wish I had a picture. You can see the other 12 bridges and the lights of Bridge City Bomount and Port Author as you go over the Netchez.

Hernando Desoto bridge coming from Arkansas to Tennessee. Combining the skyline with the expanse of the river and the attractive design of the bridge offers quite a contrast against the blandness of West Memphis.

The best views of Miami are from its bridges

Miami definitely has the best bridge views. Bar none. It helps that Miami's skylines all over the place set the tone, and the water is beautiful.

Jacksonville has some spectacular bridges and great views, but town is not nearly as built up or as interesting to look at. Triple the skyline and Jacksonville's bridge views would easily compete with Miami's (and the bridges themselves are way cooler and way higher).

Charleston's Cooper River bridges and Ravenell Bridge offer great views, too, but each is a tall bridge and Charleston does not have a skyline, so you really don't see that much aside from the land all around.

Houston's bridges are too far away to compete. Jacksonville's bridges are actually "part of the skyline" being that they are right downtown and lit up with different lighting schemes.

New Orleans bridges across the Mississippi probably offer great views.

Yeah, the MacArthur Causeway in Miami is one of the best drives in the country, even with the terrible traffic.
But Jacksonville would win if it had more of a cityscape to look at. There's just so much of them, even the ones outside of downtown are great. Like the small bridge into Ortega which has my favorite view of the skyline. The Dames Point Bridge is just huge and while it has a view of the skyline in the distance, the view of the river is just as pleasing (even the power plants).

I would probably have to vote for the Seven Mile Bridge on US 1 in the Florida Keys although Miami's bridges offer the best view of the city along with the expansive body of water.

However the Twin Spans in New Orleans do come close.

I grew up in Ortega on the water. Had unmatched views of the skyline from my house. The bridge is a hastle as it is the most opened/closed bascule bridge in Florida (or maybe it was the entire East Coast) and of course traffic stops all the time as a result (GREAT views though).

The view from the Ortega Bridge (also similar to the view from my house growing up)

The original Acosta Bridge (built in 1920s, replaced in 1990s) and you can see the Fuller Warren (I-95) in the background when it was a bascule drawbridge -

And here is a website with information on all of Jacksonville's major roadway bridges, including our cable-stayed "suspension" bridge the Dames Point and our 3 mile super highway bridge 10 miles to the south of town where I-295 crosses (the Buckman Bridge). Outside of Downtown where the river is narrow, the river is actually miles wide. It's really a huge river.

The Crescent City Connection over the Mississippi River in NOLA has amazing views. I've crossed that bridge probably every day of my life and it still amazes me every time. Not only can you see the skyline but also the roofscapes of Uptown, the French Quarter and even the port activity/cruise ships.

My two favorite bridges for seeing expansive views of the city here are the Crescent City Connection and the I-10 High Rise.

Here is a decent video of the drive over the CCC.

No, it is an aerial shot with a bridge in it and what can be seen from that bridge. If your interest is in a picture taken from that bridge, then here is one.

I would like to say one of the best views is from the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston but while the view towards the beaches and the ocean is awesome our water is gray not blue/green.
Too much silt coming down the Cooper River makes for a muddy look. We do have the occassional clearer water day but you gotta go 50 miles offshore to the Gulfstream to see bluer water.
Florida is on a whole nother level with it's clarity.

The bridge that spans the harbor in Corpus Christi, TX offers some nice views of the downtown area as well as the USS Lexington aircraft carrier; if you like industrial stuff, you can see miles of petrochemical plants stretching along the harbor toward the northwest.
