Do you mean on SSC? Or on the Internet in general?

I don't really mind them on SSC - it's better than having pages and pages of massive images with enormous file sizes that crash my computer (I really can't believe the number of people who do this).

SSC. I just wait till they are downloaded and then look at them!
With thumnails you have to open lots and lots of windows... -__-

For a discussion group thumbnails are much better. If I look at a thread with lots of pictures, I usually won't respond because I don't want to go through the headache of loading all those photos everytime I check if someone has responded to my post.

Thumbnails guarantee that they will at least look at every picture for more than a second.

Dude, a thread I recently did would not have been possible without thumbnails.

It's a fact is that threads with clickable thumbnails get less responses.

I like the thumbs. They create threads which take way less time to load and view, allowing folks to look quickly and decide what they do or don't want to look at.

Depend on the pictures. If they are great, very nice and about a subject I like, I prefer not thumnails. But if the pictures are really HUGE and about something not "interesting" for me, it would not be bad to make them as a thumbnail to choose the best one, and then view it in a new Firefox tab.
