Its so old and yet it still looks so graceful!

I wonder if it was among the top10 tallest in its time.

Kinda reminds me of the Scottish-Rite Cathedral in Indianapolis, but much taller.

10/10 One of the most awesome looking buildings ever. It just soars to the sky. Looks very very gothic, which I love. Extremely beautiful and ornate.

You know what I like about this skyscraper? It's so different from every other skyscraper. It looks more like a cathedral or castle than a skyscraper and looks as if it were built in ancient times, or like something off of a strange movie set. I like how it climbs toward the sky so gracefully.

This skyscraper pulls off the revival style it's going for. Many other older skyscrapers only pull it off half way or not at all.

This neo-gothic masterpiece was completed in 1936 and is 535 ft. high and 42 stories. It is the the centerpiece of the University of Pittsburgh and the 2nd tallest educational facility in the world (after Moscow University). The commons room has a vaulted ceiling and is 4 stories high. The first and third floors feature the famous Nationality Rooms, which are ornate rooms in the style of different nationalities, such as Austrian, German, Norwegian, Syrian, etc.

Wow, I've never heard of this building, but it's a stunner.

Older buildings always amaze me. I think skyscrapers are engineering marvels even in this day and age, but without such modern technology involved, they become even more impressive.

now THAT'S what i call a cathedral! such a cool building. seriously, i think it's the best neo-gothic building ever built, and it truly looks good standing alone instead of being with other pittsburgh buildings.

considering it's in oakland, which is away from Pittsburgh. I have seen pics of it towards the way of downtown Pittsburgh and it looks even better.

The Cathedral of Learning has just been cleaned. 70 years of soot and grime were removed in a $5 million restoration project this summer. It has made a huge difference... the building really gleams! I can't keep my eyes off it whenever I'm near.

I would have given it maximum points but the top looks incomplete. I suppose The Depression was to blame for that. So 9.5/10 despite Frank Lloyd Wright calling it the world's largest Keep Off The Grass sign!
