These are the remaining pics from my trip to Losantiville, aka Cincy. These were taken on the section of Mt. Auburn that faces Downtown.

Great pics too bad they're missing people. Makes the city look like a ghost town.

Enough naysaying. Cincinnati is a classic old river city. It's not New York, it's not San Francisco, it is Cincinnati. It doesn't put on a charade for anyone.

houses on hills, awsome.

Is this an affordable area to buy or rent or is it gaining ground and becoming...high end?

The buildings that are built on the hills are awsome, from the back they look like 8 story towers.

it almost looks like one of the cities on the hudson river or pittsburgh, but most old cities with pre wwII development do..

are there every any plans to revive the abandoned subway in cinc? or build a new system?

It's quickly becoming very high-end, especially along Sycamore Hill. Rehabbed stuff there is selling anywhere from $250,000 to $750,000. Certain developers are coming in and filling up the holes.

No. There's a possibility of light rail and even intercity heavy rail, but not anytime soon.
