London is more international.You really do feel like you are in the center of the world.For me it certainly is.I am an English speaking person from an English speaking western coutnry,Australia.When I went to live there for a year in 1998 I felt truely at the center of my culture.

Tokyo.It drawfs the city in size.Even Osaka is bigger than London.The shopping in Shinjiku alone is more than the whole city of London combined.While Tokyo isnt as international as London or New York,it is still a very international city.Tokyo is the center of the Japanese world.The capital of a largely homogenous country with a very small rate of immigration compared to western countries.You only get the feeling of variety down in the city areas around the Yamanote line.The rest of the city is strictly Japanese.

London wins for architecture.I prefer odler looking buildings.If modern is more your taste then its Tokyo for sure.

For me its a close call.

During the day I would rather be in London.Nice parks,great buildings and wonderful sightseeing.

At night.Tokyo!!!! It is the worlds busiest and largest city with a nightlife to compare.London's is more subtle and sedate.

I prefer any major asian city over `boring' and drab northern European cities.
There seems to be more life... with all the hustle and bustle ....

Tokyo, but London is everything but boring. Is the 2nd best city in the World for me, i love it (but not as much as Tokyo, mochiron!)
