Seattle back in action!!

I must say I love living in tropical South Florida, walk to the beach, lots of sunshine, tropical trees and flowers but those pics make me want to try Seattle. Seems so beautiful. I know that you dont get much sun, is that true or a Seattle myth?

Seattle does have a lot of cloudy days. Annual percipatation is around 35 inches which isn't much. 70 percent of Seattle's rain falls between October and March. Summers in Seattle are the absolute best of any place I've been. Abundant sunshine, very little rain if any, not too hot or humid and very long days of daylight, with the sun going down around 10:00pm. Our weather is nothing like south Florida but our landscape is lush and green with plenty of flowers year around. I moved out here 5 years ago from the east coast and I must say the Pacific Northwest weather is by far the one I'd rather live in. Don't ever believe Seattle is this dark dreary place because it really isn't. I just laugh when I hear those comments. :)
