Pedagang Blok A Pasar Tanah Abang Terima Kunci

<


Para pedagang di Blok A Pasar Tanah Abang, Kamis (28/4), menerima kios sekaligus kunci dari pengembang PT.Priamanaya. Harga kios di gedung setinggi 20 lantai itu berkisar antara Rp 20 juta sampai dengan Rp 200 juta per meter persegi untuk pengelolaan selama 20 tahun. Sementara itu, kios yang tersedia mulai dari ukuran 2 meter x 2 meter.

Asisten Manajer Humas PT Priamanaya, Sumaryana, mengatakan penyerahan kios yang disimbolkan dengan penyerahan kunci itu merupakan realisasi penempatan bagi sebagian besar eks-pedagang Pasar Tanah Abang Blok A. Pada April 2003, Blok A tersebut terkena musibah kebakaran. Sedangkan, pembangunan Blok A sendiri sudah mencapai tahap 80 persen.

Sumaryana mengatakan, para pedagang tersebut akan ditempatkan di tiga lantai, yaitu lantai semi lower ground dengan kapasitas 779 kios, lower ground (670 kios), serta ground sebanyak 706 kios.

The facade makes it look like a building that is 15 years old and not very well maintained. Still, I'd like to go there when it is finished.

this building is replacing that big glass pyramid proposal huh? that SUCKS! the glass pyramid was so cool man.. it made good use of the little river aroudn it and it looked flippin awesome.

yeah, it will be full of wholesale and retail shops inside...
that yellow building on the left - that's the new Tanah Abang market...famous for its textiles eversince colonial times. Its a new building and the traders would be relocated.

On the other hand, I don't know if this building will replace the glass pyramids....are they supposed to be on the same location?

i think that that glass pyramid was supposed to be built where the jakartacitycenter is because they both have the word "melati" in them.. and theyre both next to that lil creek

The design seems okay IMHO. Due to its middle-eastern style facade, at first I thought they were building a large mosque or sth. Nevertheless, I think it would be a nice addition to Jakarta's skyline.

it's a very islamic architecture.. which is quite unique.. even though Im not a fan.. but it adds to the variety of architecture styles in Jakarta...

that's the Jakarta City Center (there's a thread for that). Its also a "pusat grosir" (wholesale center), but not part of the Tanah Abang market.

Guys, this building is the cancelled Novotel and the ancient house is the famous CANDRA NAYA.

Well, the developer planned to demolish this ancient house and government agreed to move it to somewhere in TMII complex, but before they materialized their plan the experts complained. They dropped the plan.

I personally agree that it's kept there (at least --still better than being demolished). We have to treasure our ancient buildings.

actually, the novotel mixed used complex is owned by the Modern Group. I don;t know whether they sale the land or not,but if they don;t, it would likely to be continued sooner or later. It was meant to be a mix-use development comprises od two apartment tower, a four star novoteland an office hotel and designed by megatika international.
